Vaamika Island Spread over 7 acres on a private island, Vaamika Island is located within the remote and scenic backwaters of Kochi, Kerala. Uniquely designed suites come with free Wi-Fi. All are equipped with a minibar and tea/coffee making facilities. En suite bathrooms have a shower and free toiletries.Vaamika Island is a 30-minute speedboat ride from Bolgatty Marina. From there, it is a further 15-minute drive from Kochi International Airport. It is a 30-minute drive from Kochi, Cherthala and Alleppey Railway Stations. Airport transfers are available at an extra charge.Classical Indian music and dance performances, martial art shows are performed on request. Vaamika also organizes boating expeditions on the lake and provides speedboat shuttles to Lake Kumarakom and Crafters Market.Meals can be prepared upon request using fresh ingredients from the island’s garden or a local organic farm. Fresh seafood caught daily is also available. Guests can also take part in local cooking classes.
